Also, I love the depiction of . . . is that Leviathan? . . . in the header. For many years, now, I have pointed to the last few chapters of Job to prove that dragons existed. LOL!

Yeah, Leviathan himself. Saw him emerging on the beach of a Greek island and caught this snapshot as he scared he daylights out of one of the locals. Thankfully, the guy was unharmed. This monster mainly enjoys bursting out of the water like this and scaring people, then he goes back under and does a repeat performance. He mainly subsists on whales (meat), huge globs of seaweed (veggies) and broken ship hulls (fiber).

Good stuff, Randall. The chaos that is affecting my life, right now, isn't really my chaos. Oh, sure, there are always elements of chaos in my life, but right now, it is affecting my pastor, her husband, and our church. Kari is our pastor of discipleship (I'm Lutheran, now), and her husband, Keith, had a severe stroke, last Thursday. As information has become available, I have learned that he is awake, but unable to move much of anything but his eyes. Cognitively, he seems okay, but it has affect all muscle and motor functions. I'm going to forward this article to her. And it has definitely given me some things to consider. Kari is like a sister to me, so this chaos is definitely affecting me, as well. These are times when one feels humbly helpless.

Wow, Jeff, I am so sorry that this is happening right now to Kari and her husband. May God break the grip of this affliction and supply needed grace until then. I hope this article serves as a signpost as they make their way through this unexpected nightmare. They might also be helped by "Don't Look Now." Grace, mercy, and peace.
